18.09.2023Awesome video Paul!! My favorite sports game on the switch is NBA Playgrounds 2. My brother and I play it couch co-op mode for hours at a time. I love this game because I grew up playing NBA JAM with my brother on Sega genesis so it always brings back good memories. Great giveaway and good luck to all participants!! 👍

18.09.2023Being a football fan, the majority of my sports games are football ones, although i've spent many time playing other sports games like nba playgrounds 1 and 2, and more recently rbi baseball 18, i actually found it funny, and from what i've seen, this years version is a step up.

Incitement favourite sports game on the switch is Football Manager. I'm a huge baseball and nfl can though so looking at picking up mlb and mutant league football as well as motorsport manager in the near future.

16.09.2023Love sport games play them most of the time got to say my favourite one on the Switch at the moment is the newly released Motorsport Manager also have FIFA19 , FM Touch , Mutant League Football , Rocket League , Mario Tennis , NBA 2K19 , Disc Jam , Trials Rising , Football Heroes Turbo and New Star Manager think I got it bad lol so a baseball game wouldn’t look out of place on my Switch lol 👍

16.09.2023I nearly picked up NBA on the switch but (1) the install size put me off and (2) I tried it on XBOX on the free weekend recently and whilst I loved the presentation, I actually preferred the slightly less polished but simpler gameplay of NBA live 19 as it was easier to just pick up and play. For the switch (in portable mode at least) the quick pick up and play style of something like Playgrounds feels a better fit for on the go gaming.
RE other sports games, I just picked up Motorsport Manager that came out last week… I've only sunk an hour into it so far (but did play the original PC version a few years back but I believe this is a port of the mobile version) but I've been impressed with the presentation and how smoothly it plays – it works really well as a cut down sports management game and just doing the routine management and a race weekend makes for a nice little 10-15 minutes of game play that you can then put down and come back to later ready for the next race. My only concern would be how deep it is in the long run so I need to play more before I give it a full recommendation. Fair price too at £9.59 launch discount. Not seen any reviews yet so maybe you could grab a copy and get there first again, like the RBI 19 review.
I would also give a very guarded recommendation for Tennis World Tour IF you can find it cheap enough (I paid 15 quid for the cartridge version)… it had an appalling launch on all consoles last summer (to the point it was barely playable yet cost 50 quid) but it did start to get patched up 6 months later and is a little more playable now – online play is still quite dodgy though.
PS – As you'know, I already own rbi so don't include me in the draw 🙂
